  • Selected to exhibit the sculpture Labyrinth in Prince´s Gardens South Kensington London in the RBS Nordic Exhibition SKULPTUR 2015 in an open call, nearly 170 applications came from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. one of 17 selected artists, two from Iceland

  • Artist´s State Grant, Ministry of Culture, Iceland. Six months grant.

2008

  • Sculpture Network, Pöcking, Germany. A new member.

  • SÍM The Association of Icelandic Visual Artists, Reykjavík, Iceland. A new member.

  • Was in the selection committee for new Bursary members of the RBS, 250 applications came in from young Art graduates for only 10 places

  • Active council Member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, London.

 

2002

  • The unveiling of “Time” by DR Jean Gooding MBE Indoor 3D Site Specific Mural for Westwood High School for Girls London.

  • The unveiling of “Core” by Lord Michael Heseltine CH, PC. Indoor water sculpture. UCL, the British Heart Foundation Laboratories, Rayne Institute, University Street, London.

  • Active council Member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, London.

  • Was in the selection committee for the Annual Exhibition of the RBS with: Richard Cork Arts Critic, Derek Morris RBS President, Chris Dunseath ARBS and Prof. Glynn Williams FRBS.


2001

  • Invited and selected. Committee Member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors 2001-2003

  • Sculptors Fellowship. Nominated and approved by the The Royal British Society of Fellowship to join their company. Fellowship recognises sculptors of special distinction with a proven track record of outstanding achievement. (ARBS 2000)

  • Solo Sculpture Exhiibition in the Millennium Dome, London invited, supported by Egils sjodur Skallagrimssonar.

  • Monument Metro Public Art Commission Newcastle City Centr, invited. Finalist.

  • Elected to the RBS as an Associate Member.

1999

  • Winner of the Westwood High School Clock-face Competition.

  • Art Exhibition and Cultural event at the Royal College of Art London, supported by Egils sjodur Skallagrimssonar.


1998

  • 1st prize winner of the International Greenham Common Sculpture Competition, UK with 150 participants.

  • Invited to represent the UK at “Fabriq’Art”, Mereville, France. Supported by the EU.

  • The Wybo Haas design award trophy, "David" commission bronze trophy, set of two.


1997

  • 1st winner of the Wybo Haas award and commissioned by Wybo Haas to design an award trophy, "David" which will be given annually to artists and writers from a wide range of disciplines, UK.

  • Nominated for the Wybo Haas award for young British sculptors.

  • A winner of the prestigious Membership Bursary of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. Two year grant.

1994

  • British Film Institute. Landmark Structure Competition for MOMI and NFT, South Bank London. Selected work exhibited 1995 in MOMI BFI Landmark exhibition. RIBA, The Bartlett School, UCL London.

1992

  • After graduation from Chelsea College of Art and Design London invited by the Design Museum, to participate in the exhibition A Festival of Scandinavian Design and Exhibited my degree sculpture Wheel of Progress by the main entrance to the museum.
